Cup of the day-27...

Richard Burkett and I are currently teaching a workshop at Penland, and as a starter we each made cups for all the students (two designs, one from each of us), and had them apply a handle to the cups we gave them.  The object was to allow them to respond to the cups we made, with their own interpretation of handles for our cups.  They each did two, one of Richard's and one of mine.  Above is the result, yet to be fired in a salt of soda kiln.  I'll try to post them again once they are fully completed.
